What are the prerequisites for enrolling in the program?
There are no specific prerequisites for enrolling in the program. However, a strong interest in travel, basic knowledge of the industry, and a passion for entrepreneurship will be beneficial in maximizing your learning experience.
Can I enroll in the program if I am not currently residing in Canada?
Yes, international students are welcome to enroll in the Travel Consultancy Certificate Program. However, you will be responsible for obtaining any necessary visas and making your own travel and accommodation arrangements.
Is financial aid or scholarship available for the program?
TEMC offers a limited number of scholarships and financial aid packages for qualified students. However, we offer flexible payment plans for al students. Please contact us and enquire about our payment plans.
Can I work while completing the program?
The program is designed to accommodate working professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs and allows you to balance your studies with work or other commitments. International students can work up to 20 hrs per week.
Will I receive a recognized certification upon completing the program?
Upon successful completion of the Travel Consultancy Certificate Program, you will receive a certificate from TEMC. In addition to this, you will receive a TICO certificate allowing you to practice as a travel agent in Ontario if you pass your TICO exam.
Is there an internship component in the program?
No, the primary focus of the program is to equip you with the skills and knowledge to launch your own travel agency or leverage from our strong industry connections which may lead to potential job opportunities at established travel agencies.
