BETTER JOBS ONTARIO
(Domestic students only)
Better Jobs Ontario (formerly known as "Second Career") is an Ontario government program that helps laid-off and unemployed individuals to train for new careers in emerging sectors of the economy.
It covers up to $28,000 for tuition and expenses such as books, travel, transportation, disability supports and basic living costs.
Eligibility
-
have been laid-off and have not been working or are working a temporary job just to cover costs
-
have been unemployed for six months or longer and are part of a low-income household
How to apply
STEP 1
To apply to Better Jobs Ontario, you’ll work with an Employment Ontario agency where staff are trained to help you decide if this program is right for you and to help you to complete your application. The application process requires information regarding:

STEP 2
Explore TEMC accredited programs and decide which one is right for you. Please note that to be eligible for this financial aid, full time courses including certificate and diploma programs must be completed within 52 weeks or less.

BANK LOANS
Most commercial banks offer a bank loans such as a Student Line of Credit. Visit your bank today and speak to a financial advisor to see if you qualify.
TEMC will assist by providing you with a Letter of Acceptance and information about the tuition fee required and the duration of your program of study.
