ACADEMIC FOUNDATIONS

INTRODUCTION

Toronto Economics and Management College offers Academic Foundations and Language Upgrading programs focused on preparing learners for their academic journey toward post-secondary education. The purpose of this program is to ensure that learners who have a strong grasp of the English language can have the additional training and skills necessary to meet the English language entrance requirements or meet English language proficiency benchmarks that can provide opportunities for career advancement. The foundation program also provides a framework to introduce students to the post-secondary education system in Canada.
